I have long been passionate about bridging worlds, whether between talent and companies, the science and the arts, and the mind and the heart.I hold a BA in Science, Technology and Society Studies from Brown University, and a MS in Urban Education from University of Pennsylvania. Singer Songwriting

I wrote my very first song "Going Far Away" at the age of nine, scribbled on a note pad about the excitement and fear in my little girl's heart the night before I went to sleepaway camp for the first time.Over the twenty five years since, the same impulse to transfigure sentiment into song has taken shape in two ablums: Once, Again and Carnival Detour, streamable on the links below.I have two new ablums in the works: Spirit Takes Flight a soulful cover album of songs that tug on my spirit... and a to-be-named dance album spanning Bachata to EDM to ecstatic jungle tracks based in my newfound love of dance.

Poetry

My most recent collection of poetry is entitled Enough. Released in 2024 this book takes a 90 poem ride along the rollercoaster of love, grief, lust and laugter in a half breakup half queer awakening text that is equal parts gut-wrenching and humorous.White Noise in the Curling Sun, released in 2014, is a collection of spoken word poetry that takes us to the edges of language, soemtimes breaking words down towards the meaninglessness of sound, and sometimes stringing them together to paint lush landscapes and stories.A Changing World It Would Seem, It Would Seem released in 2013 was part of my Undergraduate Thesis project and turns the text from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's 2014 Synthesis Report into a work of poetry, giving the heart and mind access to felt sensation of the report by breaking the language of data into a poetic text.
